Resort 2017

Rosie Assoulin was my main client during my time at Design Residence, with my work composing roughly 30-40% of her collection each season.  This style required went through many rounds of corrections for fit, but also hours of preparation prior to cutting due to the designer's requirement for plaid symmetry, placement, continuity, and matching.  We also made a yellow top!

Sample cutting

Final samples required meticulous plaid matching to ensure continuity and symmetry across the garment.

Rigorous testing for internals was carried out to achieve the desired opacity and silhouette throughout.
